Every child's learning journey begins with a conversation.
During your complimentary consultation, we'll discuss your child's strengths, challenges, educational history, and your goals for intervention.
This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn more about the Orton-Gillingham approach, and determine whether JenniBean Language Services is the right fit for your family.
There is no obligation—just an opportunity to explore how individualized literacy support can help your child build confidence and thrive.
2. Diagnostic Assessment
Before customized lessions begin, I conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment to develop a clear understanding of your child's current literacy skills.
The assessment evaluates areas such as phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, handwriting, reading fluency, sight word recognition, and written language.
The results provide valuable insight into your child's strengths and learning needs, allowing me to create an individualized learning plan tailored specifically to them.
You'll receive a written summary of the assessment along with recommendations to guide your child's learning journey.
3. Personalized 1:1 Intervention
Every learning session is personalized to meet your child's unique learning profile and goals.
Using the evidence-based Orton-Gillingham approach, instruction is structured, systematic, and engaging, helping students strengthen their reading, spelling, writing, and overall literacy skills.
Lessons are carefully paced to celebrate success, build confidence, and foster a positive relationship with learning.
As your child progresses, instruction is continually adjusted to ensure they are challenged, supported, and encouraged every step of the way.
